Did you ever went to sleep thinking of a problem and woke up with the solution? I guess that would be an example of the Hemingway effect?

Technically, Hemingway effect is when you know what comes next and you stop. You’re forcing an “incomplete” stop, so your brain thinks about what happens after the next step.

If you have a problem at hand and woke up with a solution, I would say that would relate to focused vs diffuse thinking.
